Chris Billam-Smith won the World Boxing Association (WBA) Continental Cruiserweight title with a unanimous decision victory over Vasil Ducar on Saturday at Wembley Arena in London, England.
The judges’ scorecards were 99-90, 99-90 and 97-92 to award the victory to Billam-Smith, who was superior throughout the fight and won the vacant 200-pound belt.
The 30-year-old English fighter dominated the Czech from start to finish and won his third consecutive fight to move up in the rankings and get better fights for the future.
Billar-Smith’s record is 12 wins, 1 loss, and 10 KOs. For his part, Ducar had 9 wins, 4 losses, 1 draw, and 8 KOs.
