The World Boxing Association semifinal champion, Dmitry Bivol, and his challenger for this Saturday at the Hard Rock Hotel in Atlantic City, Jean Pascal, had no problems making weight this Friday at the weigh-in ceremony with both registering under the 175 pounds allowed.

Bivol (14-0, 11 KOs) will make the sixth defense of the Semifinals championship after coming in at 174.4 pounds, while Pascal (33-5-1, 20 KOs) will try to become a world champion for the second time in his career after weighing 174.6 pounds.

During the weigh-in, the fierce tempers of the fighters, who crossed paths as sparring partners, were displayed and they left the ground ready for the expected showdown on the Main Events billboard that will be broadcast live on HBO.

In addition to the main event Murodjon Akhmadallev and Isaac Zarate will fight for the Intercontinental title of the WBA at super bantamweight, while Sergey Kuzmin and LaRon Mitchell will also go for the Intercontinental title in the heavyweight division.
