Bopp defended her crowns against PortilloThe Argentinean Yesica “Tuti” Bopp defended her WBA/ WBO Light Flyweight crowns against Marisa Portillo, whom she defeated on the score cards, in the  Polideportivo of Monte Hermoso, of Buenos Aires, Argentina.

The champion was able to defend her belts in the ring without any problem against the contender from Santa Fe. At the beginning of the tenth and last round, there was an incidental head-butt that caused a deep cut in the forehead of the challenger and the fight has to be stopped, going to the score cards.

The Judges had the champion winning by 98-91, 100-90 and 100-90, and the belts did not change hands.  So “Tuti” kept her record of 23 win, 10 by KO, while Portillo’s record is now 13 wins, 7 lost, 2 draws and 2 KO’s.
