Joshua Buatsi and Marko Calic are ready to shake up London in an unusual Sunday boxing card for the World Boxing Association (WBA) International Light Heavyweight title.

Buatsi, who was born in Ghana but has British nationality, will make the fifth defense of the title he holds since July 2018. The 27-year-old undefeated prospect comes to the fight with a seven knockout sequence and a desire to continue climbing the rankings.

The champion won the title by defeating Latvian Andrejs Pokumeiko by KO in one round during 2018. The four defenses he has made have been against Frenchman Tony Averlant, Australian Renold Quinlan, Mexican veteran Marco Antonio Periban, and most recently against Canadian Ryan Ford.

He will face Calic, a 33-year-old Croatian who is also undefeated. The Pula native has a good career in the amateur field and has climbed fast since jumping to the professional field in 2016. It will be his first opportunity for a regional belt and he wants to surprise everyone.

Buatsi has 12 wins in his career, 10 of them by KO. Calic, meanwhile, has 11 wins with 6 KOs.

"Chocolatito" González will defend his belt against "Jiga" González in Mexico
