One of the most impressive light heavyweight fighters, Joshua Buatsi, will return to the ring this Saturday to face veteran Craig Richards in a World Boxing Association (WBA) 165-pound world title eliminator fight at the O2 Arena in London, England.
The Brit will be making his first fight of 2022 and is looking to maintain his undefeated streak in his professional career. A native of Ghana but of English nationality, the 29-year-old fighter has passed several interesting tests that have earned him a place in world boxing as he awaits the big headline opportunity.
In front of him will be Richards, WBA international champion, who has already fought for the world championship against Dmitry Bivol so he has a lot of experience. At 32 years old, he is looking for a new opportunity for the belt but he must overcome this fight if he wants to get it.
The fight will be the main event of the Matchroom event in the English capital this weekend. Buatsi has 15 fights, all wins and 13 by knockout. Richards has 17 wins, 2 losses, 1 draw and 10 knockouts.
