Britain’s Ricky Burns and Namibian Julius Indongo will meet this Saturday April 15, in Glasgow, Scotland where the WBA and the IBF super lightweight title fight will be at the stake.
Burno is the the WBA world champion since May 28, 2016, when he defeated Michele DiRocco by TKO8, and later defended it against the Byelorussian Kiryl Relik, defeating him by unanimous decision.
On his part, Indongo is the IBF 140 world champion since December 2016 after defeating by KO1 Eduard Troyanovsky from Russia.
Burns, better known as “Rickster”, has a record of 41 wins, 5 defeats, a draw and 14 knockouts. While the Namibian is unbeaten in 21 fights with 11 KO’s.
