Saul Alvarez and Jermell Charlo arrived on Tuesday at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, where a crowd of fans and journalists greeted them ahead of their fight this Saturday at the T-Mobile Arena.
The fight for the World Boxing Association (WBA) super middleweight championship and the WBC, WBO and IBF belts continues to heat up and this was the first official activity of the week.
Canelo arrived from Lake Tahoe, where he did part of his preparation for the fight, while Charlo worked in Houston, Texas for the important commitment.
Both greeted those present, took some pictures and were interviewed live for the public to hear their impressions and what they expect from the fight.
Other promotional events will take place throughout the week and on Friday will be the official weigh-in prior to Saturday’s fight.
