“Canelo” Alvarez is just over two weeks away from fighting for the dream of becoming the undisputed super middleweight champion. The World Boxing Association (WBA) Super Champion also holds the WBC and WBO belts, but he will have to beat IBF champion Caleb Plant on November 6, in Las Vegas, if he wants to win all four titles.

This week, the Mexican had a public training session, in which he showed a little bit for the press and also had the opportunity to share with the journalists who connected online.

Plant has said that he has good boxing tools and knows how he is going to use them against Alvarez, reason why the WBA champion has assured how complete he is as a fighter and the advantage that gives him when stepping into the ring against any opponent.

“I am a complete fighter. I can do several things in the ring. I can be aggressive, I can counterattack, I can move. At the end of the day, I know I have to be a complete fighter. That’s what I learned under Eddy Reynoso,” said the Guadalajara native.

The weeks leading up to the bout have been marked by comments back and forth between the two fighters and, of course, the famous clash they had at a press conference, in which there was physical aggression.

“It’s new for me to have so much bad blood with an opponent. It’s very different from normal and it’s definitely the most animosity I’ve ever had with an opponent before a big fight,” he noted. “I stand by my prediction of a knockout before the eighth round. The first few rounds will be tough, but as the fight progresses, I’ll be able to get him out of there.”

When asked about what he had to say to Plant, Canelo preferred to be reserved and avoid further comment.

“I delivered the message I had to do at our press conference. I don’t have to say anything else to Plant. I’m going to prepare to face him in the ring on November 6,” concluded the 31-year-old boxer.
