Former World Boxing Association (WBA) World Champions, Anselmo “Chemito” Moreno and Jezreel “Invisible” Corrales, returned to the ring this Friday night at Los Andes Mall, in Panama City, and both scored victories.
Moreno defeated Mexican Antonio Tostado by unanimous decision in the Featherweight division as the main fight of the night. The scorecards were 100-90, 96-94 and 100-90, with which the 35-year-old southpaw made a great comeback since his last fight in November 2019.
For his part, Corrales finished the fight easily with a first-round knockout over Mexican Miguel Angel Martinez. The 29-year-old fought in the lightweight division and proved that he wants to regain the status he had in the past.
Both Panamanians have been boxing icons in their country during the last years and their return in good shape is great news for the Central American nation.
