After five WBA Light Flyweight title defenses

WBA Press. November 28. The Nicaraguan fighter Roman “Chocolatito” González, World Boxing Association Regular Champion of the Light Flyweight, will be promoted to the status of super champion.

The decision was announced by the World Championships Committee, after an assessment of the result of Gonzalez last performances.

González has five successful title defenses 108 lbs. gold and black belt plus three successful defenses the 105 lbs. title he previously had.

All his title fights have been outside his native country.  Gonzalez has had to travel to Japan, Mexico and United States to become a champion and to defend his title.

González is 25 and is undefeated in 34 fights with 28 knockouts.

“Chocolatito” González será promovido a Súper campeón

Prensa AMB. 29 de noviembre.- El peleador nicaragüense Román “Chocolatito” González, monarca regular de la división mini mosca de la Asociación Mundial de Boxeo, será promovido a la condición de súper campeón.

La decisión fue anunciada por el Comité de Campeonatos Mundiales, tras realizar una evaluación de los resultados de González en sus últimas presentaciones.

González suma unas cinco defensas positivas de su cinturón negro y oro de las 108 libras, y previamente tres más de la faja de las 105 libras.

Todas sus peleas titulares han sido fuera de su país. González ha tenido que viajar hasta Japón, México y Estados Unidos para convertirse, y posteriormente mantenerse como monarca mundial.

González acumula 34 triunfos, con 28 nocauts propinados, y se mantiene invicto a sus 25 años de edad.
