In advance of Saturday’s fight at Koenig Pilsener Arena in Oberhausen, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany, WBA World super middleweight champion Fedor Chudinov (14-0, 10 KOs), from Serpukhov, Russia, and former WBA Super World middleweight champion Felix Sturm (39-5-3, 18 KOs), from Cologne, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany, both made weight.
At the official weigh-in today, the champion came in at the super middleweight limit of 168 pounds.
The challenger came in a pound under at at 167 pounds.
After the weigh-in, the WBA official overseeing the bout, accompanied by WBA president Gilberto Jesus Mendoza, reviewed the rules concerning tomorrow’s rematch.
