World Boxing Association (WBA) middleweight champion Claressa Shields participated in the National Minority Quality Forum in her role as an advocate for breast cancer awareness.

The 2023 version featured the theme “Reimagining Our Health Care to Protect the Most Vulnerable” and featured Shields who along with other personalities spoke about different issues affecting minorities in the United States.

The champion said that it was a great honor for her to have had a voice in such an important showcase and to be able to represent the population on these issues, which are so important in today’s times.

The pioneering organization applauds Shields for fulfilling this great role and for carrying a much-needed message on behalf of women.
