World Boxing Association (WBA) Light Heavyweight World Champion Nathan Cleverly will defend his crown this Saturday at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, against Badou Jack.
The fight for the WBA belt is a guarantee of good boxing. The Champion, native of Wales, will face Jack, a Swedish who has faced the best of several divisions and is looking to take advantage of this opportunity to get the world’s oldest boxing body’s belt.
For the Champion, it will be the first defense of his crown, which he earned last October when he defeated German Juergen Braehmer in his own home.
Cleverly and Jack are already in Las Vegas for the previous steps before the bout. The British has a record of 30 wins, 3 losses and 16 knockouts. Jack has a balance of 21 wins, 1 loss, 2 draws and 12 knockouts.
