Young Puerto Rican prospect Oscar Collazo and experienced Filipino Vic Saludar will seek their shot at a world title in the eliminator this Saturday in Los Angeles, California.
Collazo, 25 years old and WBO regional champion, will make his debut in the United States after having fought several times in Puerto Rico and once in Panama. Although he was born in the United States, he is Puerto Rican and has made his career there so far.
Saludar has already been a world champion and has gotten a new opportunity to fight for the black and gold belt. The 31-year-old Asian has the experience and a higher number of fights, which is an advantage for him.
Collazo is undefeated in 4 fights, 3 of them by knockout. Saludar has 21 wins, 5 setbacks and 11 knockouts.
