Known by the nicknames of “Pretty boy” and “Money”, he was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1977, and started at a young age in sports discipline, led by the hand of his father, Floyd Mayweather Sr.
He was part of USA Olympic team and was a Semifinal in Atlanta 1996 games. In total, during his amateur career Mayweather Jr added 84 victories with 6 losses.
Ten years later in October 1986, he became professional.
He is a role model of dedication, commitment and is loved by his fans.
