The British native Anthony “Million Dollar” Crolla surpassed by unanimous decision the Indonesian Daud Yordan in support fight of the memorable battle between Oleksandr Usyk and Tony Bellew, held at the Manchester Arena in Manchester, United Kingdom.
Crolla won on the scorecards 116-112, 116-112 and 116-112 to take over the World Boxing Association (WBA) lightweight title, after an excellent demonstration of experience, power, and physical conditioning in the face of a difficult opponent in Yordan.
With this triumph Crolla opens the doors to the Ukrainian Vasyl “Hi-Tech” Lomachenko, current super lightweight champion of the black and gold organization.
The so-called “Million Dollar” man already knows all about being champion, as he held the title of the WBA organization in 2015 when he defeated the Colombian Darleys Perez.
