Argentina’s Mirco Cuello scored a new victory in his career last Saturday by knocking out Brazilian Michel Da Silva in just one round at the Casino Buenos Aires, in the Argentine capital.
The featherweight prospect is World Boxing Association (WBA) International champion but did not put his belt on the line during this presentation. He once again put on an impressive performance in which he knocked down his opponent on one occasion and then continued the punishment so that the fight ended in the very first round.
Cuello is 21 years old and is a fighter who combines good technique with punching power that has become more noticeable with each submission. The Santa Fe native won the South American title with this victory, a crown endorsed by the Argentine Boxing Federation.
He now has an undefeated record of 9 wins, with 8 knockouts, while Da Silva suffered the first loss of his career, while he has 13 fights won.
