Argentine Mirco Cuello defeated Flecher Silva this weekend in South American title fight held at the Radisson Victoria Plaza in Montevideo, Uruguay.
The featherweight prospect scored a sixth round technical knockout in a fight in which he was superior and showed his power from the start to finish it in a resounding fashion and continue his good path in professional boxing.
Cuello is international champion of the category by the World Boxing Association (WBA), however, in this fight he did not put that title at stake. The Santa Fe native is 22 years old, has a southpaw guard and good punching power that makes him an interesting prospect.
It was the 11th career victory for the South American, who has knocked out 10 of his opponents. For his part, Silva has a record of 15 wins, 2 losses and 12 knockouts.
