This Monday, September 27th, the purse bid for the mandatory fight between World Boxing Association (WBA) Flyweight Champion, the Ukrainian Artem Dalakian, and the official challenger and former interim champion, Panamanian Luis Concepción, will take place.
Carlos Chávez will be in charge of directing the bid that will begin at 10:00 a.m. local time in Panama and which will be carried out through the Zoom platform.
The Championships Committee sent the official communication of the purse bid to the interested parties at the time of the expiration of the negotiation period ordered by the pioneer body from August 16th to September 15th.
Since the WBA did not receive an agreement between the parties, it called to purse bids with a minimum amount of US $80,000.00 to obtain the rights, and a distribution of 55% for the champion and 45% for the challenger.
Dalakian has been champion since February 2018 and has defended his belt four times. On the other hand, Concepción was recently named mandatory challenger and has the right to face him in the next fight.
