Prospect Dave Apolinario will return to the ring next Monday, January 17 to fight Mike Kinaadman at the Sanman Gym, in General Santos, Philippines.
Apolinario is one of the top talents in the Asian country and is the World Boxing Association (WBA) South Asian flyweight champion. At only 22 years of age, he has shown good tools and has given great performances, so he is emerging as a great promise of this sport.
Kinaadman last fought on July 16, when he won his WBA regional belt with a four round knockout victory over Charlie Malupangue in Talisay City.
Kinaadman, on the other hand, does not have a great record but has faced good opponents like Rene Mark Cuarto and former world champion Vic Saludar, which is an advantage in experience for the challenger.
Apolinario has a record of 15 wins, with 10 knockouts, while Kinaadman has a record of 7 wins, 14 setbacks, 2 draws and five knockouts.
