British Ohara Davies and Lewis Ritson will step into the ring this Saturday at the Newcastle Arena for a World Boxing Association (WBA) super lightweight final eliminator.
The bout will be the highlight of this weekend’s event and will pit two opponents seeking a shot at the world title, which is currently held by Dominican Alberto Puello.
Davies comes in on a great win streak that stretches from 2018 to the present. Along the way, he has defeated opponents of good experience and that is why he has earned the opportunity to be in this eliminator fight of the pioneering body.
Ritson, meanwhile, comes in with two wins in a row and has won six of his last seven, which shows the good moment he is living. After a good stint at lightweight, he moved up to 140 pounds in 2019 and has worked his way up to this opportunity.
Davies has 24 wins, 2 losses and 17 knockouts. Ritson has 23 wins, 2 losses and 13 knockouts.
