Venezuela’s Dervin Colina defeated Colombia’s Orlando Estrada by knockout in two rounds on Friday night and won the World Boxing Association’s (WBA) Fedelatin title in the Super Middleweight category during the main fight of the event held in Puerto Colombia.
Colina looked far superior from the start of the fight and came out against an opponent who couldn’t handle the strength and power of the Machiques native. The “Diamond”, who is 32 years old, achieved an important victory and is now the regional champion of the pioneer organization, which puts him on the doorstep of better opportunities.
The left hook was the blow that detonated Estrada, but that impact was preceded by a lethal combination of punches with no response.
Colina remains undefeated in 14 fights, 12 of them won by KO. Estrada, on the other hand, now has 13 wins, 10 losses, 1 draw, and 10 KOs.
