The undisputed lightweight champion, American Devin Haney, won the World Boxing Association (WBA) Boxer of the Month award thanks to his victory over George Kambosos last October 16.
The 23-year-old boxer faced the Australian in a rematch and once again put on a dominant performance to retain his WBA, WBC, IBF and WBO belts.
Haney reaffirmed himself as the best fighter at 135 pounds, again demonstrating that he possesses fine boxing and is one of the fastest fighters in the world, in addition to possessing one of the most effective jabs in the world today.
The Pioneer organization congratulates Haney on his win and for his award for the month of October. With the individual awards of the month, the WBA rankings were also published, which can be reviewed in the corresponding section of its website.
