The American Joseph “JoJo” Díaz demonstrated a great superiority over the Nicaraguan Freddy Fonseca and beat him by technical knockout in the seventh round, in the Canelo-Jacobs support fight in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The Nicaraguan sought to make resistance but was overwhelmed by the speed and accuracy of Diaz, who sent him to the canvas in the sixth round and finished it in the seventh, after the corner threw in the towel for his protection.
Satisfied with his second performance at 130 pounds, Diaz declared himself ready for a world title fight in his next battle and took the opportunity to challenge Tevin Farmer.
After the conquest of the gold super featherweight title of the WBA, Diaz left his record with 29 wins, 1 loss and 15 through chloroform.
