Dmitry Bivol will defend his World Boxing Association (WBA) Light Heavyweight Super Championship against Craig Richardson this Saturday at the AO Arena in Manchester, England.

Bivol is Russian born in Kyrgyzstan, he is one of the most accurate boxers today, he has power and a very tidy style that makes him a fearsome fighter in a division where there is a lot of power.
Bivol has defeated Jean Pascal, Joe Smith Jr., and Lenin Castillo in his last three fights. Now he will go against Richards, a Briton who is ranked fifth by the pioneer organization and who knocked out Shakam Pitters in December 2020.
Being active means something in favor of the challenger, who will try to use that pace to surprise Bivol in a very interesting fight.
Next Friday both will step on the scale and they will have to stop it at 175 pounds to be able to fight for the WBA belt.
Bivol has 17 wins in his professional career and is undefeated, with 11 wictories by way of knockout. Richards, on the other hand, has 16 wins, 1 loss, 1 draw, and 9 KOs.
