Mexico’s Andy Dominguez became the new World Boxing Association (WBA) Fedecentro flyweight champion by defeating Edwin Reyes this weekend in New Jersey, New York.

The prospect scored a technical knockout in the fourth round to earn a big win that makes him the owner of the hitherto vacant 112-pound crown. 

The 24-year-old fighter continues to rise in his career and got a victory that helps him in his goal of continuing to grow and make a name for himself in world boxing under the guidance of Cuban trainer Ismael Salas.

It was the seventh victory in the career of Dominguez, who lives in the United States and has 5 knockouts.
