Roberto “Manos de Piedra” Duran arrived in Nicaragua on Friday accompanied by his two sons and the WBA Ratings Committee chairman Miguel Prado to attend the Annual Awards Ceremony of Nicaragua Sportswriters Association (ACDN).
“Manos de Piedra” Duran was received by the ACDN president, Moises Avalos, at the protocol lounge of the Augusto C. Sandino Airport, and later taken to the Holiday Inn Hotel in Managua for a Press Conference.
The Legend of Boxing made public his appreciation to the WBA maximum authorities President Gilberto Mendoza and Vice-president Gilberto Jesus Mendoza for making possible his attendance to this event, “land of my brother Alexis Argüello”.
