British promoter Eddie Hearn will participate in the 99th Convention of the World Boxing Association (WBA) during the “Challenges in Boxing” forum, together with the president of the pioneer organization, Gilberto Jesús Mendoza, and other figures that are about to be confirmed.
Hearn is one of the most important promoters today and has expanded his operations worldwide. He started with a great job in the United Kingdom and grew until he reached the United States and other places in the world. Today, he is one of those at the forefront of the return of boxing amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Englishman is an ally of the WBA and has worked hand in hand with the organization on numerous projects. The WBA is happy to have the protagonists of boxing today participating in the topic discussions and interacting with the public.
The “Challenges in Boxing” forum will be held on the third day of the convention -Friday, July 3rd-, and will start at 10:00 a.m. United States Eastern Time.
The WBA 99th Convention will make history as it is the first to be held online. It will serve as a prelude to the organization’s centennial celebration, which will take place in Moscow, Russia, in 2021.
