On the fourth floor of the Thompson Hotel in Dallas, all the journalists seated in the event hall could confirm that both Roman Gonzalez and Juan Francisco Estrada keep a classic speech for an epic fight, expected, and literally, the four-time champion said that “we are going to paralyze Mexico and Nicaragua”.

The talk between Chocolatito, Estrada and promoter Eddie Hearn was broadcast live to the world, as this is a dream fight that both young and old alike will not want to miss and that has lasted over the years.

“I’m very aware of how long people have had to wait for this to become a reality. It will be a nice fight, elegant, El Gallo is a great champion, and we know what we have to do,” commented Chocolatito when asked about the fan’s great interest.

“I just hope we can finish safe and get back to our families healthy,” he added.

The other side of the coin, Mexico’s ‘El Gallo’, Juan Francisco Estrada, stepped forward to open up about his feelings, without falling into disrespect.

“I have three defeats, I’ve already defeated two, I only have this one with Roman, it’s going to be a tough fight, I’m focused, physically and mentally prepared for this Saturday,” said the native of Puerto Peñasco, Sonora.

There are three belts at stake (WBA, WBC and Ring Magazine), the before and after of their careers, the building of a legacy and their desire for more in both.

“The opportunity is not to be missed. It’s been almost nine years. We’re already nine years away and on Saturday the big winner will be the public,” concluded the Mexican champion.
