Estrada-Valle: in pursuit of greatness

Seniesa Estrada and Yokasta Valle will battle for greatness on Friday night when they compete for the undisputed minimumweight title at the Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona.

The two best female fighters in the division will step into the ring with all of the division’s titles on the line and a long-standing rivalry that has been going on for several years. Estrada holds the World Boxing Association (WBA) and WBC belts, while Valle holds the IBF and WBO belts.

Estrada, born in the United States, comes from defeating Leonela Yudica in July of last year in Las Vegas. The 31-year-old fighter is aiming for all four titles and finally has her chance and knows it’s time to get it.

Valle, from Costa Rica, last fought last November when she defeated Anabel Ortiz in Cartago. The Central American is also 31 years old and hasn’t lost a fight since 2018, so she comes in on a great streak to the most important fight of her life.

Estrada has 25 wins, no losses and 9 knockouts, while Valle has 30 wins, 2 setbacks and 9 finishes before the limit.

Clara Lescurat will defend her title again in April
