WBA Middleweight champion Felix Sturm simply outclassed Koji Sato getting a seventh round referee´s stoppage after dealing Sato a brutal beating on Saturday night at the Konig Palast in Krefeld, Germany. Sturm was extremely sharp with his jab early on while fending off Sato´s powerful attacks. As the bout progresse, it almost seemed Sturm couldn´t miss as he schooled the previously unbeaten challenger. Referee Luis Pabon finally steped in to stop the carnage at 2:46 of round seven. It was Sturm sixth title defense.
