The last press conference between Gervonta Davis and Rolando Romero was marked by hostility and a challenging attitude from both fighters. This Saturday they will step into the ring to fight for the World Boxing Association (WBA) lightweight title at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, and the atmosphere is becoming increasingly tense.

A large number of press attended the conference venue to see them and get their impressions of the fight. Confidence was the constant in both of them, who have no doubt that they will walk out with their hands up this weekend.

Gervonta said he is confident in his tools and that he will have no problem taking another victory, while Romero promised an early knockout.

In the end, they did a one-on-one in which they both shouted and in which offenses came out in an evidence of the desire they have to get in the ring. The expectation continues to grow and this Friday will be the weigh-in ceremony, the last step before their confrontation.
