Gilberto Jesus Mendoza visited the House of Representatives of Mexico in the visit he is making to this country during this week. The president of the World Boxing Association (WBA) was together with the team of the pioneer organization and together with Congressman Miguel Torruco in the facilities of the palace in Mexico City.
Torruco led Mendoza on a tour around the building, while the two talked about national and international boxing, as well as different projects before entering the Chamber’s session, which took place this Thursday afternoon.
Mendoza talked with several of the congressmen, who warmly received the WBA president and posed with the replica of the black and gold belt that the WBA team took to the facilities of such important organization of the Mexican country.
The WBA president will continue to fulfill several commitments during the weekend in Mexico and close deals prior to the WBA Centennial Convention, to be held from December 11 to 14 in Orlando, Florida.
