Super middleweight champion 160 lbs of the World Boxing Association, Gennady Golovkin, arrived on Monday in of New York city, United States, waiting for his upcoming fight on Saturday against the Australian former world champion, Daniel Geale, at Madison Square Garden.
Golovkin met his fans in Times Square, and during his public workout with his trainer Abel Sánchez and the rest of his team on Tuesday morning.
The middleweight king since 2010 is undefeated in 29 fights, 26 of them won by KO. On his behalf, Geale is 36-2, 16 KO´s.
The fight will be on Saturday at the mitical New York site, and the officials appointed by the New York State Athletic Commission are: Michael Ortega as referee and Julie Ledman, Don Trella and John Mckaie as judges.
