Devin Haney and Vasyl Lomachenko held their first press conference for the undisputed lightweight title fight on May 20. The city of Los Angeles, California, hosted this first face to face between both fighters, who will step into the ring of the MGM Grand, Las Vegas.

Accompanied by their teams and under a great atmosphere, both fighters introduced themselves to the press, talked about what they expect from the fight and their aspirations for this great fight.

Haney, owner of the World Boxing Association (WBA), WBC, WBO and IBF crowns, knows that he is the opponent to beat in the division and assured that he feels that his level is currently above Lomachanko’s, so he feels comfortable and confident of his skills and hard work.

On the other hand, Lomachenko emphasized that this is the opportunity he was looking for and that he has no excuses. The Ukrainian intends to become champion again and show why he is one of the fighters most loved by the people and most acclaimed in general.

The tour will continue through several cities and the two will return to their camps to continue the prep work for the big lightweight fight coming up.
