Duran was born on June 16, 1951 and at the age of 16 he entered in the boxing world where he managed to make history winning five world titles as well as the first Latino to do it.
With effort and hard work the became an idol and was considered the best pound for pound during his days of glory. He ended his 33-year-career with the impressive record of 104 triumph, 16 losses, no draws and 69 KO’s.
