The boxing world will have its eyes on Tijuana this Saturday, where female boxing legend Jackie Nava will make her farewell fight after a long and successful career that made her one of the most outstanding in history.

Nava will face Gloria Elena Yancaqueo at the Fausto Gutierrez Moreno Municipal Auditorium in an evening that promises to be a great farewell party for the Mexican.

Nava made her debut in 2001 when she was only 21 years old and had an extensive career that led her to become champion in the bantamweight and super bantamweight categories. She has been a solid fighter who always brings action and has gained the affection of the fans.

The 42-year-old woman has been solid, she has undertaken projects and is a congresswoman in Mexico, which shows how versatile she has been and all the tools she has both in and out of the ring.

The boxing world is grateful for her contribution and for being a guide for women in the sport.
