Daniel Jacobs and John Ryder held their public training session on Wednesday as part of the promotion for their World Boxing Association (WBA) super middleweight eliminator fight.
The American and the Briton will feature in the main event this Saturday at the Alexandra Palace in a very interesting clash of two experienced fighters looking for a new title shot.
With a large press attendance, camera flashes crowded the ring set up at the venue. The visiting Jacobs did some light work with his trainer and looked in great physical shape for his return to the ring.
Ryder, who has the advantage of being at home for this important engagement, also did some shadow work and shared with reporters during his turn in the ring.
This Thursday will be the last press conference before the fight and on Friday they will step into the ring to make the 168-pound weight class. Jacobs has a record of 37 wins, 3 losses and 30 knockouts and Ryder has 30 wins, 5 losses and 17 knockouts.
