A few days ago was confirmed the opponent of the undisputed welterweight champion of the World Boxing Association, Jessica McCaskill. She is the Mexican Alma Ibarra and they will fight for all the belts on June 25 at the Tech Port Arena in San Antonio, Texas. This will be the third defense for McCaskill.
The American had her last presentation in December 2021 against Kandi Wyatt, whom she knocked out in the seventh round. Focused on her preparation, acting as commentator in Matchroom events, Caskilla is living a splendid moment.

In the last one, she defeated compatriot Laura Ramos by technical knockout in the super welterweight division. In that weight division was the only world championship fight she has fought so far, against Raquel Miller. Now, in the second chance, she is going for everything.
McCaskill will arrive with 11 fights won with 4 knockouts and only 2 defeats. While Ibarra will do it with 10 wins, 5 of which have been before the limit and only 1 loss.
