Johan Perez, Venezuelan super lightweight interim champion 140-pound of the World Boxing Association and Mauricio Herrera completed the weigh-in smoothly, so they now wait for the opening bell on Saturday July 12 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
Both fighters scored 140 pounds on the scale during the weigh-in ceremony on Friday afternoon at the fight venue.
Perez will defend his belt for the second time, while this is the second time Herrera fights for the WBA Belt.
Tony Weeks will be refereeing, with Max de Luca, Lisa Giampa and Glenn Trowbridge as judges according to the Nevada State Athletic Commission.
For its part, the WBA chose Robert Mack as the fight supervisor.
