Boxing is a game that healthy young men exchange gloves, but it might be a new tradition that our Japanese contestants often wear a mask to avoid any virus infection.  So did Daiki Kameda (15-2, 11 KOs), who will fight a rematch with the WBA flyweight champ Denkaosen Kaowichit (48-1-1, 20 KOs) of Thailand tomorrow (Sunday) in Kobe, Japan.  They fought last October to a majority decision (115-113 twice and 114-114) in favor of the 33-year-old veteran Thailander.  Since Kameda Promotions strongly asked for a direct rematch, the WBA finally sanctioned it after the convention in Colombia in November. The 21-year-old Daiki, the younger brother of the WBC flyweight kingpin Koki Kameda,attempts to follow the footstep of Klitschko brothers dominating the world belts inthe same category at the same time.

Today there was a weigh-n ceremony, where the champ tipped the beam at 110.75 to the 112-pound class limit for the challenger.

We will see another WBA female super-flyweight title go between defending champ Tsunami Tenkai (13-3, 4 KOs) of Japan and Shanee Martin (9-4-1, 5 KOs) of UK on the same show.  Each scaled in at 114, a pound lighter than the class limit.

The WBA officials are as follows:

WBA flyweight title bout: Referee Lahcen Oumghar (Holland); Judges Stanley Christodoulou (South Africa), Pascuale Procopio (Canada) and Glenn Feldman (US).

WBA female super-flyweight title bout;

Referee Ferlin Marsh (New Zealand); judges same as the male title go

The supervisor of both fights is Renzo Bagnariol (Nicaragua).
