Veteran Tewa Kiram was superior for 10 rounds against Afghan Mohammed Zekria Zamani and defeated him by unanimous decision at the SpacePlus Arena, Bangkok, Thailand, to win the World Boxing Association (WBA) Asian super welterweight title.

The local fighter used all his experience to limit the Afghan boxing and dominated him during the course of all the rounds despite the willingness and desire shown by Zamani in the fight.

Kiram got a new victory in his career and continues to move towards his goal of having a world title fight again in the future. The Thai became known in America when he fought Lucas Matthysse in 2018 in the United States, which means the only loss of his career.

It was the 47th win for Kiram, who has 1 loss and 33 knockouts. Zamani stood at 5 wins, 1 loss and 3 KOs.
