Ukranian Wladimir Klitschko (63-3, 53 Kos) and the Congo born Youri Kalenga (21-1, 14 KOs) stopped their undefeated challengers on Saturday night to successfully defend their WBA belts on the top weight divisions.

At the O2 Arena of Hamburg, Germany, Klitschko scored a spectacular fifth round KO over previously unbeaten Kubrat Pulev (20-1, 11 KOs) from Bulgaria.

Pulev came out aggressively and was dropped twice by Klitschko in round one. Klitschko dropped Pulev again in round three and knocked him out at 2:11 of round five to keep his heavyweight super championship.

Interim cruiserweight titlist Kalenga stopped Denton Daley (12-1, 6 KOs) by TKO at 1:52 of the twelfth round. Local Daley suffered a 9th round knockdown and was dropped twice again in the final round to suffer his first career defeat.

This victory at the Hershey Centre in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, is the first one for Kalenga on his first fight in North America and his fifth straight in five different countries.
