Venezuelan Liborio Solis lost today his World Boxing Association super flyweight championship when he was over teh weight at the official weigh-in for his unification fight with Daiki Kameda in Osaka, Japan.
Solis, 115-pound champion, weighed 117.5 pounds even after his second attempt. Now, he does not have any possibility of unifying or win the bout scheduled for Tuesday at the Coliseum Bodymaker Asian city.
Meanwhile, Kameda, made 115 pounds so should he win, he will also get away with the black and gold WBA belt.
The judges for fight will be Tony Weeks, as referee, Robert Hoyle, Joe Garcia and Valerie Dorsett as judges. Mariana Borisova be the WBA supervisor.
