Venezuelan Jorge Linares and British Anthony Crolla had their public workout in Manchester, England, before their bout this Saturday, when they will fight for the World Boxing Association Lightweight Title.

The gladiators had a slight workout in front of an audience that applauded them. Both Linares and Crolla are in the last week of preparation and all the work was done previously. However, the audience attending the National Football Museum in Manchester were able to enjoy the public workout of these two stars.

Linares obtained his WBA Lightweight Title after beating Crolla by unanimous decision in their fight on September 24th, while the British lost his diadem after having made a successful defense.

The “Golden Boy” has a record of 41 wins, 3 losses and 27 knockouts, while “Million Dollar” has 31 wins, 5 losses, 3 draws and 3 knockouts.

The World Boxing Association Officials Committee named the British Boxing Commissioner Howard Foster as referee and Philippe Verbeke of Belgium as judge, while the World Boxing Council chose Mexican Alejandro Rochin and American David Sutherland to complete the trio of judges.

In the meantime, the WBA supervisor of the actions will be the Nicaraguan Renzo Bagnariol.
