The Mexican and world boxing legend, Marco Antonio Barrera, will be present at the World Boxing Association (WBA) Centennial Convention to be held at the Caribe Royale Hotel in Orlando, Florida, from December 11 to 14.
Barrera was one of the most impressive fighters of an entire era and gave great battles in his professional career, which lasted from 1989 to 2011.
Barrera was world champion in the super bantamweight, featherweight and super featherweight categories, in addition to leaving a great legacy and memorable fights. He faced Erik Morales, Naseem Hamed, Manny Pacquiao, Juan Manuel Marquez, Johnny Tapia, among other greats of his generation.
Barrera is a boxing man who after his retirement has remained active in the media and has served as a commentator for several major networks. On the other hand, he created the podcast “Un Round Más” along with Erik Morales, which is the most listened to in Spanish-speaking boxing and is a reference today.
