Spain’s Sandor Martin and Mexico’s Jose Felix met the scales in Barcelona, Spain and are ready to fight for the vacant World Boxing Association (WBA) super lightweight international title this Friday at the Palau Olímpic Vall d’Hebron.

Both fighters weighed in at 139.3 pounds, below the 140-pound limit required by the division and were qualified to fight for the regional belt of the pioneer body.

Martin will have a special night in his return home after defeating Mikey Garcia in October and wants to give his best in front of his home crowd to put on a show and also take another step towards his goal of becoming a world champion in the future.

Felix wants to prevent at all costs Martin from being able to celebrate with his people and intends to use all his experience to bring a victory that will return him to the top of the division.

Now everything is ready for this fight and both are waiting for the opening bell of what is predicted to be a great war.
