Ryad Merhy and Arsen Goulamirian made weight for their fight for the World Boxing Association (WBA) Cruiserweight title this Saturday. Both boxers managed to be within the limit of 200 pounds in the division and are ready to enter the ring and fight for the body’s belt.
Merhy, born in Ivory Coast and of Belgian nationality, stopped the scale at 195.1 lbs, while Goulamirian, who was born in Armenia and of French nationality, weighed 196.3 lbs.
It will be a duel between two undefeated boxers who are good punchers and have the desire to get the crown of the body. The fight will take place in Marseille, where both have many fans who hope to see them become champions.
Merhy has 24 wins, no losses and 20 knockouts, while Goulamirian has a record of 22 wins, no defeats and 14 knockouts.
