New York State Athletic Commission appointed Michael Griffin as the referee of the World Boxing Association middleweight title fight between Jarrod Fletcher and Daniel Jacobs, to be fought on Saturday at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

Griffin will be accompanied by the judges Adelaide Byrd (USA), Nelson Vazquez (PR) and Glenn Feldman (USA). The fight supervisor will be Renzo Bagnariol.

The Australian Fletcher is the current N° 2 rated contender, while Jacobs occupies the third slot of the 160 division.
