The new lightweight champion of the World Boxing Association, Venezuelan Miguel “Aguacerito” Acosta met with the Vice President of the organization in Panama City.

Together with his manager and father, Oscar Acosta, in addition to their coach Orangel “Memin” Ramos, he met with Gilberto Mendoza. Acosta stopped previously undefeated Paulus Moses on May 29 in Namibia.

In addition, Mendoza, who congratulated him for being a new king of the WBA, talked pleasantly about upcoming plans.

Similarly, Acosta said he has every intention of becoming an example for the youth, and being a strong champion. The details of these plans will be officially released upon the arrival of Acosta to Venezuela in the coming days.
